Privacy Policy
HaloAuras is a web-based content operating system for creators and businesses. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle data connected to your workspace and integrated platforms.
What HaloAuras does
HaloAuras helps users plan, generate, organize, and review content operations in one place. Depending on how you use the product, that can include connecting third-party platforms such as TikTok, generating content drafts, and viewing analytics or performance data inside the app.
What data we may collect
We may collect account and workspace information such as your name, email address, company or brand details, billing-related details, and the basic information needed to operate your account.
We may also collect content inputs, generated outputs, workflow records, comments, uploads, usage activity, and analytics or performance data that you choose to sync or view through the product.
When you connect a third-party platform, the authorization happens through the platform itself or through our integration partner, and HaloAuras never sees or stores your platform password. For connections HaloAuras operates directly, such as publishing and sync connections to TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook, file storage connections to Dropbox, and booking connections to Calendly, we store the authorization tokens the platform issues. These tokens are held server-side, used only to operate the connection you enabled, and never exposed to your browser. For platform analytics connections made through our integration partner, the credential is held by that partner rather than by HaloAuras. In every case we store the record that a connection exists, which account it refers to, and its status, so the product can show you whether a connection is working.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve HaloAuras, support account access, operate integrations, generate and organize content, show analytics, maintain security, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about the service.
Specifically, we use data to improve the platform, power attribution and performance reporting, and improve the quality of content generation.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified product usage information to understand how HaloAuras is performing and where it should improve.
Automated processing and artificial intelligence
HaloAuras uses automated systems, including third-party artificial intelligence services, to generate content drafts, analyze the content you have published, propose brand profile elements, and produce reporting. To do this, content and related information from your workspace may be sent to those services for processing.
These outputs are suggestions and estimates rather than verified facts, and you remain responsible for reviewing anything generated before you use it.
Third-party integrations
If you connect a third-party platform, HaloAuras may receive data made available through that platform's API or integration flow. We use that data to provide the features you enable, such as content operations, reporting, and performance visibility.
Your use of third-party platforms is also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies. We do not control external services and are not responsible for how they handle your data outside HaloAuras.
Payment and revenue data
Payments for HaloAuras subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. We receive and store limited billing records such as subscription status, plan, billing dates, and the identifiers Stripe uses to reference your account.
If you connect a payment account so that HaloAuras can attribute revenue to content, we receive records of transactions in that account, such as amounts, dates, currency, refunds, and the reference information needed to match a transaction to a piece of content. We use this only to produce the attribution and reporting features you have enabled.
HaloAuras reads this data. We do not create, modify, refund, or move money in a connected payment account, and the product enforces this restriction in code.
If you connect a payment account belonging to a client or another business, you are responsible for having the right to do so and for any notice or consent that relationship requires.
Data sharing and no sale of personal data
HaloAuras does not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers or infrastructure partners only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
The service providers we rely on to operate HaloAuras include hosting and application infrastructure, database and backend services, payment processing, platform data integration, email delivery, error monitoring, and product analytics. These providers process data only as needed to deliver those functions on our behalf. We will provide a current list of these providers on request.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the service, or to enforce our rights and policies.
Cookies
HaloAuras uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure your session, and understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the service works.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting jacquie@haloauras.com. We will action deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the request. We may retain limited records where we are required to for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, and we may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.
If you cancel your subscription, your workspace data is retained for a period after cancellation so you can return or export it, and may be deleted after that. Request an export before cancelling if you need one.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account, and for ensuring you have the right to connect accounts, upload content, and use data within your workspace.
If you manage client or team data in HaloAuras, you are responsible for your own notices, permissions, and internal policies related to that data.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data, but no system can promise absolute security.
Where we operate and your rights
HaloAuras is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, or object to certain processing. Contact jacquie@haloauras.com to exercise those rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

HaloAuras is a business product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact jacquie@haloauras.com and we will delete it.
